India’s third-ranked information technology services firm, Wipro added around 52 new clients during the quarter, compared with 50 new clients last year, taking the total number of active clients to 978.
On a year-on-year basis, the Bangalore-based company added 19 new clients.
The number of clients contributing above $50 million remained same for the quarter, with 10 clients fetching more than $100 million business and 16 fetching more than $75 million.
The company saw a marginal rise in the business from its top client in the quarter. It rose from 3.2% revenue in previous quarter to 3.6% revenue this quarter. However, on a year-on-year basis, it declined to 3.4% in fiscal 2013, from 3.6% in fiscal 2012.
On a yearly basis, revenues from the top 10 clients grew from 19.3% in fiscal 2012 to 21.8% in fiscal 2013.
